Support UPAN and Make a Difference
The Utah Prisoner Advocate Network (UPAN) is a 100% volunteer-driven organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of incarcerated individuals and their families in Utah. Every contribution you make goes directly towards our programs and outreach efforts, as none of our volunteers receive any form of compensation. Your generous, tax-deductible donation helps fund critical services, including:
- Advocacy and Education: We work tirelessly to address systemic issues in Utah’s criminal justice system, providing a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
- Family Support and Resources: Your donation helps us provide essential guidance, resources, and emotional support to families navigating the complex incarceration process.
- Inmate Mail and Newsletter Program: We send regular newsletters to inmates, keeping them informed about policy updates, educational opportunities, and community resources.
- Event Programming: We organize events, workshops, and educational sessions for families and the community to promote awareness and support.
- Operational Costs: Although UPAN operates remotely without a physical office, we still have essential ongoing expenses. Your support helps cover costs like software subscriptions, supplies, equipment, travel, legal and tax preparation fees, website hosting, online advertising, and printed materials.
By donating, you help make the incarceration journey a little easier and more fair for everyone involved. Thank you for believing in our mission and standing with us in support of Utah’s incarcerated population and their loved ones. For more details about our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, please see the information below. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
