UPAN is ALL volunteer and we all have our own incarcerated loved ones. There’s NO central office and funding comes directly out of our own pockets except for small donations here and there. We ask that if inmates have family or friends on the outside, that they download the PDF from this page (or from the link in the UPAN Newsletter monthly email if you’re subscribed to our mailing list) to print and send the newsletter to them instead. The UPAN Newsletter is designed to be exactly 10 pages, so when it is printed on standard 20 lb. bond paper front and back (totaling 5 pages) and sealed in a standard #10 envelope, it can be mailed with one (1) Forever Stamp from the U.S. Postal Service. We recommend you send it to the inmate using the UPAN return address:
Utah Prisoner Advocate Network (UPAN)
P.O. Box 464
Draper, UT 84020
Note: The Purgatory Correctional Facility will not accept personal letters, but will accept newsletters from the UPAN return address. Please only use the UPAN return address for the newsletter, corrections staff are required to open and examine every letter. You should use your own return address for personal letters.
