DESCRIPTION:Join us for the August 2025 UPAN Monthly Meeting\, where we’ll explore how the Utah Department of Corrections uses risk assessments to evaluate\, treat\, and reduce recidivism among incarcerated individuals. Our featured speaker\, Jared Hill\, CMHC\, is the Director of UDC’s Sex Offender Treatment Program and brings years of experience as a clinical mental health counselor working directly with justice-involved populations. \n\n\n\nMr. Hill will provide an overview of evidence-based tools used within Utah’s prison system to assess criminal risk and needs\, including how these tools inform treatment planning\, supervision levels\, and parole decisions.
